UCO Endeavor Games:
The UCO Endeavor Games is a nationally recognized competition that allows all athletes with physical disabilities to participate in a multi-sport event. There are a number of different sports competitions offered. Marlon Shirley, a Symes amputee and top DS/USA and U.S. Paralympic athlete, has broken the long- standing 11-second ceiling for the 100-meter sprint by clearing the distance in 10.97.

Running the 100-meter sprints is Marlon Shirley's specialty. He proved he isn't that bad in the 200-meters either, winning the 200-meter amputee men's final Thursday at the International Association of Athletics Federations World Championships in Saint Denis, France.
